OUR CHURCH DOCTRINE
Our Church doctrine is what the Bible says from Genesis to Revelation. We feel all scripture is important to every soul, regardless of denomination. We believe all mankind should be good moral citizens. However, in John 3:3 it says, " Except a man be born again , he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Just "being good" isn't enough to get us to Heaven. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and there is none other name given under Heaven among men, whereby we must be saved.
We believe the Holy Ghost and the gifts of the Holy Ghost are for everyone to profit withal, and they are given to every willing vessel according to the will of God as written in in 1st Corinthians, Chapter 12.
We believe in Divine healing, and the fullness of effectual fervent prayer, which will make one completely whole; as it is written in James, Chapter 5.
We further believe that Jesus is returning soon to catch away his church, and we will meet him in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

A few things that are unique about Burgoon Church is we still baptize in the creek or lake and we are inconveniently located in the country, on a dead-end road, surrounded by the Hoosier National Forest. We are especially unique because we live by the church slogan;
"WHERE LOVE ABIDES"
